Easton Man Charged for Allegedly Leaving Wife, Child in Westport

Barry Seroff, 33, of Easton, was charged Saturday with risk of injury to a child, disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a protective order after he had a domestic dispute with his wife in a vehicle as they were driving through Westport, police said.

Seroff pulled over and told his wife and the child to get out of the vehicle, police said. She and the child got out of the car and then contacted police, according to the report.

Seroff has a protective order on file against him by his wife, police said.

He was later picked up at their home in Easton and placed under arrest, police said. He later posted $2,500 bond and was released for court Monday.
