Easton Republicans Put Up Candidates for Endorsement

First Selectman Thomas Herrmann has the backing of the Republican Town Committee to run for another term as Easton's top official. On Thursday night, Herrmann topped the ticket of RTC recommended candidates for this November's municipal elections.

The rest of the slate recommended by the Republican Party on Thursday night include: 

• Selectman — Scott Centrella
• Town Clerk — Christine Halloran
• Treasurer — Wendy Bowditch
• Tax Collector — Christine Calvert
• Board of Finance — Andrew Kachele and Christian Griffin
• Board of Education — Sharon Stemme
• Board of Assessment Appeals — John Miranda
• Zoning Board of Appeals — Charles W. Lynch
• Library Director — Gail V. Gay
• Region 9 Board of Education — Catherine Gombos and Todd Johnston

All registered Easton Republicans are invited and encouraged to attend the party's caucus on Tuesday, July 16th at 7:30 p.m. at the Easton Community Center to endorse the party's slate of candidates.

This year's municipal elections will be held on Nov. 5.
