Easton Voters Approve $3M EMS Appropriation By More Than 2 To 1
1,701 Voters headed to the polls Tuesday from noon to 8:00 p.m. to vote on the special appropriation.
EASTON, CT — Town residents voted to approve a special $3 million appropriation benefiting Easton EMS by more than 2 to 1.
1,701 voters headed to the polls Tuesday from noon to 8:00 p.m. to vote on the following question:
"Shall the town approve a special appropriation of $2,951,613 from the undesignated fund balance to the EMS Capital Project Fund for the construction and renovation of the existing EMS building with a total cost of $4,180,944?"

The final tally was 1176 "yes", and 527 "no" votes.
