Easton Woman Sees a Bear on Her Deck

Another Black Bear sighting has been reported in Easton. On Friday, an Easton Heights Lane resident told police she saw a bear on her deck at around 11:42 p.m.

By the time an animal control officer arrived at the house, which is located near the Newtown border, the bear had moved on, according to police.

A previous bear sighting was reported at the intersection of North Street and North Park Avenue at 6:30 a.m. on May 30. A man told police a large Black Bear stood at the intersection, then walked into the woods.
