Robert E. Friedman, D.D.S., 97, of Redding, died June 17, 2025; he practiced dentistry in Bridgeport and Fairfield, taught internationally, served in the U.S. Army, and enjoyed tennis, fishing, and travel.
Vivian Joan Vetro, 98, died June 1, 2025; she enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and caring for animals during her 25 years in Easton.

Eunice Katherine Hanson, 89, of Easton, died Apr. 28, 2025; she served Easton as Registrar of Voters, co-founded a Bridgeport shelter, and supported 9/11 memorial efforts.
Allen Siegel, 93, of Redding, died Apr. 5, 2025; he was a real estate executive, musician, avid tennis player, storyteller, and Ruby Life Master in bridge.

Aloysius “Slavko” Polak, 91, of Easton, died Mar. 24, 2025; he owned a glass shop for over 50 years, sang in his church choir, and enjoyed hunting, boating, and bowling.
Anthony P. “Tig” Scala, 82, of Easton, died Mar. 24, 2025; a U.S. Army veteran and longtime carpenter, he ran his own building business and enjoyed yardwork and riding his tractor.
Amy Kate Weiss, 66, of Weston, died Mar. 11, 2025; she was an advocate for women with ovarian cancer, led an online support group for Lynparza users, and enjoyed traveling to Paris, the Caribbean, and Marco Island.
Richard W. Reynolds, 89, died Mar. 3, 2025; he worked as a lineman for Connecticut Light & Power and was a longtime resident of Redding.
Richard Case, 90, of Redding, died Feb. 18, 2025; he was a computer designer and IBM executive who also served on national commissions, supported arts and education, and enjoyed travel and camping.
Andrew Hutchinson Neilly Jr., 101, of Weston, died Feb. 4, 2025; a former president and CEO of John Wiley and Sons, he was a global publishing leader, watercolorist, train enthusiast, and advocate for education, literature, and community service.
