Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Weston, Redding and Easton

​In an afternoon update the National Weather Service issued an advisory for possibly some stormy weather. BREAKING

WESTON, CT — The National Weather Service issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for most of Southern Connecticut including all of Fairfield and New Haven counties and for northern Middlesex and northern New London counties for Wednesday afternoon and evening.

In a mid-afternoon update, the weather service says isolated thunderstorms ahead of an approaching cold front will be capable of producing strong to damaging winds late this afternoon into early this evening.

While the Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued, the weather service states there is roughly a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms up until around 9 p.m. and an even slighter chance up until midnight.

As with stormy weather, some people will receive downpours and others will see sunshine.

The good news is, once the potential stormy weather moves through it’s beautiful on Thursday with sunny skies and a temp near 73.

Friday more sun and a high of 75 and currently the weekend is a mixed bag. Sunny on Saturday and mostly cloudy with some much needed showers on Sunday.
