Jacqueline N. Schneider, of Redding, Passed Away Peacefully
She volunteered at the Fairfield County Nature Center and the Weston Historical Society.

Jacqueline N. Schneider passed with peace and grace on Saturday, July 16, 2016 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband E. Lee Schneider, and survived by Derek Allen, her son, his wife Diane Orado, her granddaughters, Emma and Tessa Allen as well as her stepson Tom Schneider, his wife Leanne, and their children Whitney and Leighton.
Jacqui was born in Philadelphia, PA., attended Pennsylvania University for undergraduate and graduate studies she was valedictorian of her class. Her life as a school psychologist served many children and families over the years. She worked for New York City Schools and the Darien, CT Schools during her long career as a psychologist.
Volunteerism was one of her many community commitments. Jacqui worked with the Fairfield County Nature Center, Weston Historical Society and of course in the Meadow Ridge Residential Living Center where she resided at the end of her life. She enjoyed many of the activities offered at the center and through these experiences Jacqui made many friendships. She was loving, kind and always made time for others.

A memorial service was held at St. Timothy's Church, 4670 Congress Street, Fairfield, CT on Friday, July 22, 2016.
The family wishes to thank the Healthcare staff at Meadow Ridge, Dr. Lynne Savino and the Connecticut Regional Hospice staff for their loving care for Jacqui. Jacqui will reside in our memories and hearts and we are better people for knowing her.
