Learn How To Cook Indian Cuisine
A Redding resident is offering a two-session cooking course.

Are you a fan of tandoori, chicken curry or naan? A Redding woman will teach you how to prepare those kinds of things yourself.
Amala Hold, who was born and raised in India, is scheduled to teach two cooking classes at the Mark Twain Library in the coming weeks.

Hold, who has appeared on "Connecticut Style" and teaches cooking classes professionally, will teach those interested about Indian spices and cooking techniques. The classes are as follows:
- Thursday, Feb. 28 — 7:30 p.m. - Introduction to Indian Spices
- Thursday, March 7 — 7:30 p.m. - Techniques of Indian Cooking
Those interested can register for the classes by going to the library or calling 203.938.2545. Registration can also be done online.
