Letter: 'In Support Of Tim Gavin'

To the Editor:

A change is needed in Hartford and there’s the right candidate on the ballot. Tim Gavin, is running for the State Senate (28th) where he will make a difference! He is a committed army veteran who served his country for four years.

After his military service Tim got into coding and the tech industry through his participation in a boot camp specifically to skill veterans. He understands the need to support programs and policy that will provide necessary training and skills so that the workforce in Connecticut is ready for the jobs of the future.

Not only does he support adult tech education, but he also wants to invest in STEM enrichment programs, so our school aged children are prepared for tomorrow. However, his commitment to education doesn’t end there, he also supports fully funding schools and teacher pensions.

For these reasons, he has my vote. I look forward to seeing Tim as our new State Senator.
