Lifelong Easton Resident Alfred Barney, 97, Passed Away
Mr. Barney was an inventor, builder, farmer and friend to all.
Easton, CT — Alfred Barney, age 97, a lifetime Easton resident, devoted husband of Dorothy, passed peacefully Friday, June 17, 2016.
He was his own man; a man of the earth, inventor, builder, farmer and a sweet man of unforgettable character. He was a friend to all. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 67 years, a daughter Joan Barney of Monroe and a son David Barney of Easton.
A graveside service was held Friday, June 24, 2016.
