Man Arrested With Brass Knuckles in Redding

Steven Wright, 23, of Danbury was charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped his car on Station Road because the license plates on the car belonged to another vehicle. The incident occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 1:08 p.m.

Police found Wright to be in possession of brass knuckles and two marijuana pipes.

He was released on $120 bond and given a March 7 court date.

On Sunday, Feb. 19, Wilton Police picked up Alan Schlemmer, 53, of Danbury on a warrant. Redding Police picked him up. Schlemmer failed to appear in court to answer motor vehicle charges, police said.
