Minor Vehicle Collisions Reported in Redding Over Two-Day Span
Drivers escaped injury in two separate vehicle accidents reported in Redding on Apr. 23 and 25; police also responded to a noise complaint.
REDDING, CT — Police responded to two motor vehicle incidents and a noise complaint in town between April 21 and April 27.
On April 23, a driver traveling southbound on Route 58 struck a curb island while turning left onto Pine Tree Road. No injuries were reported, and no enforcement action was taken.
Two days later, on April 25, officers responded to a minor two-vehicle collision near the railroad tracks on Simpaug Turnpike. The vehicles’ exterior mirrors made contact while passing each other on a narrow stretch of roadway. There were no injuries, and no citations were issued.

Later that evening, police responded to a report of loud music on Redding Road. Officers located the source and the volume was reduced without further incident.
