Navin's Girlfriend Back In Court: Report

The girlfriend of a man accused of murdering his parents is also being tried in for charges related to the murder.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The girlfriend of Kyle Navin was back in court Friday where the was given another continuance, reports the Connecticut Post. Judge Robert Devlin granted that the case be continued to Oct. 6 and granted a motion to have Jennifer Valiante provide enhanced fingerprints.

Valiante is accused of conspiring to commit the murder of Navin's parents and burying their body in a friend's yard. She is also charged with hindering the prosecution.

Jeffrey Navin owned Westport-based J&J Refuse Company. Kyle was the operations manager, according to their website. Jeanette Navin was a paraprofessional at Weston Intermediate School. Court documents state that Kyle killed his parents after learning they planned to sell the family business and cut him out of their will.
