No
Previous public office, appointive or elective:
Yes; I was a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst, New York for the 2003 through 2006 terms.
Why are you seeking this office?
I firmly believe that everyone should strive to strengthen their community in any way possible. And so, I thought that I would offer my training and experience to the community that my family and I now so proudly call home.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
Property value/appearance. I intend to balance the needs of the applicant and community against the ZBA parameters and guidelines.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Although this is an uncontested race, I would like to underscore that I will bring honesty and integrity to my position.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
While the issues presented are expected to be limited to zoning, I am confident that the ZBA will address anything presented to it that appropriately falls under its purview.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Aside from being a practicing real estate attorney for over 20 years, I was an active member of the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst, New York, for the 2003 through 2006 terms. With a robust commercial business district and expanding residential sector, we voted on hundreds of applications. As further evidence of my qualifications, I present my designation as a Counselor of Real Estate by the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE®), an international consortium of credentialed real estate problem solvers who provide expert, ethical advice on complex real property and land-related matters.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Let your conscience guide you and you will always be on the right side of things.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am excited to give back to my community. As in all endeavors, I am committed to honesty, integrity, and excellence.
