No Vehicles Found After Reported Crash on Route 53
Officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on May 10 at the intersection of Route 53 and Newtown Turnpike. Upon arrival, police found no vehicles at the scene. Both drivers had left the area before officers arrived, and no further information was available.

Driver Avoids Oncoming Vehicle, Strikes Tree on Diamond Hill Road
A westbound driver on Diamond Hill Road on May 9 swerved to avoid an eastbound vehicle that had partially crossed the centerline and struck a tree on the passenger side of the vehicle. The mirror was damaged, but no injuries were reported.

Hit-and-Run Investigated on Simpaug Turnpike
A southbound vehicle on Simpaug Turnpike was sideswiped by a northbound vehicle on May 9. The northbound driver left the scene without stopping. The only description provided was a "small yellow Toyota pickup truck." The investigation remains open. No injuries were reported.
Three-Vehicle Collision Reported on Route 7
A southbound driver on Route 7 crossed the centerline on May 10 and sideswiped a northbound vehicle, police said. Debris from both vehicles struck a third vehicle that had been traveling directly behind the second. No injuries were reported. The driver who crossed the centerline was issued a warning for failure to drive to the right of the centerline.
