Redding Business Owners: Is Your Pitch Perfect?
The Mark Twain Library in Redding is hosting a small business circle entitled: 'Is Your Pitch Perfect?' Find out more on Patch.
REDDING, CT — Hone your elevator speech during the Small Business Circle’s monthly discussion, Behind the Business Card, on Tuesday, October 18, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mark Twain Library.
“Being able to introduce yourself might sound simple, but it’s easy to get flustered under pressure,” said Sharon Epstein, the SBC’s communication chair. “We want you to boost your ability to communicate who you are, what you do, and what your business has to offer.” Participants will have the opportunity to practice and receive feedback from fellow business professionals.
Behind the Business Card is a monthly series of lively, roundtable discussions designed to build relationships and exchange ideas with other small business professionals. This month’s topic is timed to help participants prepare for the Small Business Circle’s upcoming program, Speed Networking, November 10 at the Mark Twain Library. A variation on speed dating, Speed Networking participants receive limited time to present their businesses to potential clients, contacts, and resources.
