Redding Firefighter Dies Responding to a Call

G. Marshall Sanford, 67, passed away on Sunday.

Redding Firefighter G. Marshall Sanford, 67, died Sunday when responding to a call, The Redding Pilot reports

According to The Pilot, Sanford "had apparently had a medical-related issue at the while attempting to respond to the scene," Police Chief Douglas Fuchs said. 

Sanford was vice president of the Bethel Fire Department. He was also a member of Redding's EMS team.
