Redding Police Blotter Highlights For Oct. 15-20

REDDING, CT — At least four vehicles were damaged in as many accidents reported in Redding over the past week. Fortunately, none of the motorists involved were injured.
On Oct. 16, a driver hit a parked and unoccupied vehicle while pulling into a space in the parking lot of Redding Elementary School on Lonetown Road.
On Oct. 19, a motorist backing out of her driveway on Brook Road hit another vehicle passing by.

On Oct. 15, a motorcyclist lost control on a very sharp curve while traveling westbound on Old Redding Road. The bike slid into the the front bumper of a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. Police gave the motorcyclist a warning for failure to drive right on a curve.
That same day, a motorist was struck as they pulled out from the Newtown Turnpike / Cross Highway intersection onto Newtown Highway by a car that had rolled through a stop sign on Cross Highway. Police issued a warning to the motorist for unsafe movement from a stop sign.
