Redding Police Identify Woman That Died After Dog Attack: Report
Police are investigating after a local woman was killed after being attacked by her own dog on Deacon Abbott Road.

REDDING, CT — Police have identified the woman who died after being attacked by her own dog on Deacon Abbott Road as Sandra Kaiser, 71, of Redding, reports the Redding Pilot. Police say the official cause of her death is unknown, and are waiting on the results of an autopsy which is expected to take four to six weeks.
Police Chief Doug Fuchs said the dog attack set off a series of events which led to her death, and that the dog attack may not have been the exact cause of her death. The paper reports that the woman died from "very serious injuries" in her home on Deacon Abbott Road.
