Redding Senior Living Community Takes Spin on Popular Broadway Show

It’s the battle that’s taken Broadway by storm. Hamilton, is a smash hit on the stage, and tells the story of the duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr.

In light of the historical show, Meadow Ridge senior living community has invited historian and author John Sedgwick for a special one-day-only presentation at the community. John Sedgwick is the author of War of Two: Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, and the Duel That Stunned the Nation.

On Wednesday, April 13, at 2:00 p.m., Sedgwick will discuss the duel itself, why it came to pass, and how this single event affected the course of history. More than 100 people living in the area expected to be in attendance – including descendants of Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr.
