Redding Grand List Inches Towards $2 Billion

Redding’s grand list climbed a little more than $5.3 million, or 0.27 percent, from last year’s list, according to John Ford. The town’s grand list, as of Oct. 1, 2011, is $1.995 billion.

Real estate, which adds up to $1.834 billion of the grand list, increase slightly by 0.01 percent, up $108,550. Business personal property climbed $1.36 million (1.94 percent) to $71.66 million, and motor vehicles increased $3.86 million (4.47 percent) to $90.1 million.

According to the assessor, the following are Redding's top ten real estate taxpayers and their assessed property values:
