Santa, Frosty & Rudolph Set To Visit Redding Tree Lighting On Dec. 3

REDDING, CT — Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will join Santa Claus to usher in the holiday season at the Redding Parks & Recreation Department's tree lighting on Dec. 3.

The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the John Read Middle School Select Choir led by Dave Ebert, and end with the Barlow Chamber Singers, led by Gwynne Wittmann, performing as the switch is thrown at about 4:45 p.m.

In between, Boy Scout Troop 306 will be building fires, selling s'mores packets to prepare over a small fire, and arranging photo opportunities with Santa.

The Lions Club will be preparing hot chocolate and keeping an eye on Frosty and Rudolph, who will pose for photos and pass out candy canes to the kids.

Parking is in the normal Concert on the Green manner: Park alongside the Green and on the right side as you are heading north to RES, in the town hall parking lots and the church.
