Weston, Redding and Easton students earn accolades nationwide.

Andrew Schwartz, of , was named to the dean’s list at Wheaton College (Mass.) for the Fall 2011 semester. Schwartz, a member of the Class of 2014, is pursuing a major in theatre and dance studies. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Wake Forest University recently released its dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester, and three local students were among those named: Alexandra Dudley, of Redding; Ian Rosamilia, of Easton; and Cormac Carr, of Weston.

Albert A. Cortina, of Easton, was named to the dean's list at Western New England for the Fall 2011 semester. Cortina is a sophomore majoring in electrical engineering. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.3.

Two Westonites — Alexandra Fumai and Gabrielle Lavelle — were recently named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester at Gettysburg College. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.33.

Cecilia Probst, of Redding, was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester at Delaware Valley College.

Kelly Haines, of Easton, was named to the dean’s list at Springfield College for the Fall 2011 semester. Haines is studying movement and sports studies.
