Students earn accolades nationwide.

Karin Russo, of Redding, graduated from the University of New Haven on January 14, 2012 with a master’s in business administration.

Jane C. Campbell, of Weston, has been selected for inclusion on the dean's list for academic achievement during the Fall 2011 semester at St. Lawrence University. To be eligible for the dean's, a student must have completed at least four semester units and have an academic average of at least 3.6. Campbell, a senior, graduated from .

Hannah Dubner, daughter of Peter and Mary Jane Dubner of Easton, a senior musical theatre major, was named to the dean's list at Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences for the Fall 2011 semester.

Riley Stauffer, of Redding, earned a spot on the Loyola Marymount University dean's list for the Fall 2011 semester. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Berklee College of Music recently announced that Nelson Diaz, of Redding, was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester. To be eligible for this honor, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above.

Marist College recently released its dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester, and five local students were among those named:

  • Allison Beres, of Redding, a member of the Class of 2012 majoring in economics.
  • Stephen Beres, of Redding, a member of the Class of 2014 majoring in psychology.
  • Dylan Babcock, of Weston, a member of the Class of 2015 majoring in business administration.
  • Emily Clarke, of Weston, a member of the Class of 2013 majoring in psychology special education.
  • Lauren Garner, of Weston, a member of the Class of 2015 majoring in communications/public relations.
