School Briefs: March 21

Amanda Macchio, of Redding, was recently named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester at Georgia Southern University. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Roger Williams University recently released its dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester, and two Easton residents were among those named: Samuel Kivell and Allison Pagliaro. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.4.

Fairfield University recently released its dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester, and many local residents were among those named:

• Eileen Conto, of Weston
• William Kraekel, of Easton
• Victoria Rovegno, of Redding
• Brittany Spezzano, of Easton
• Ryan Spicer, of Easton
• Katherine Tom, of Weston

In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.

Kathryn Derrig, of Easton, was named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester at the University of the Sciences. Derrig is a doctor of pharmacy student. In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.4.

Colby College recently released its dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester and two local students were among those named: Drew Jamner, son of Howard and Jessica Jamner of Weston, a member of the Class of 2012 and graduate of Weston High School; and Benjamin Amy, son of Shelley McConnell of Redding, a member of the Class of 2013 and graduate of . In order to be named, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.61.
