Shaban To Run For CT Attorney General: Report

Shaban served as Weston, Redding and Easton's state representative from 2011 to 2017.

EASTON, CT — Former State Rep. John Shaban has announced plans to form a candidate committee to run for the state's Attorney General, reports the Easton Courier. Shaban announced Tuesday his plans to file paperwork to form a candidate committee for the position.

The former Republican representative served Weston, Redding and Easton from 2011 to 2017. He fell in an attempt at Connecticut's 4th Congressional District seat in 2016 to incumbent Jim Himes.

Shaban has reportedly spoken to the Republican candidates for governor as well as the Republican Attorneys General Association.
