Small Business Discussion Group Meets at Mark Twain Library
"Behind the Business Card" featuring Kurt Houser will be held May 17.

This month's Small Business Circle's discussion group of Behind the Business Card will feature SBC member Kurt Houser, owner of Telegraphic Brands, on Tuesday, May 17, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mark Twain Library. Kurt will discuss how to make a clear and immediate impact with your business message. Learn how to quickly and effectively convey what you do and what makes your business unique.
Kurt has spent his career in various strategic branding agencies, leading creative departments and developing a multitude of brands from the ground up as well as refining existing brands for Fortune 100 clients such as Coke, Unilever and General Electric. In 2001, Kurt cofounded his first agency, dk Design Partners, with his wife Dina. While continuing to design, Kurt cofounded Ola! Foods, a natural food company, and gained firsthand experience of the nature of a start up. With this experience, he relaunched his design firm as Telegraphic Brands. Kurt’s clients have included Gucci, Martha Stewart, Peachwave, and Lincoln Center.

After the presentation there will be a roundtable discussion. There will also be time to socialize and network.
Behind the Business Card is a monthly series of lively, round table discussions designed to build relationships and exchange ideas with fellow small business and home business professionals. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month. Refreshments and nibbles will be served.
