'Suspicious Incident' Reported, Easton Police Ask For Help

A driver is accused of pulling up next to a juvenile male and asking whether they wanted a ride, police said.

EASTON, CT — The Easton Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a blue GMC Terrain and its operator that approached a juvenile male on Easton Heights Lane on Sunday morning, police said.

The driver pulled up along the juvenile and asked if he wanted a ride, to which the juvenile replied “no,” police said. Another vehicle interrupted the interaction when it pulled out of a driveway, police added.

The suspect vehicle then left toward Eden Hill Road, police said.

"The operator is described as a white male with pale skin, between 60-70 years old, wearing a blue ball cap. The operator was also described as having dark marks on his skin. There is video of the incident that the Easton Police Department is following up on," police added in a news release.
