This summer, if you feel the heat coming on or you just need something to satisfy that sweet tooth, try Swirl Ice Cream &amp; Treats, one of Redding's coolest places for a hot summer day.  "With the weather getting warmer, things are picking up," said Mia Dimeglio, who's worked at the shop since September.  Dimeglio said ice cream usually beats out candy in popularity, and the hottest item right now is Swamp, an concoction of vanilla ice cream, oreos, crushed malted balls, chocolate chips, M&amp;Ms and caramel.  She also said when summer arrives officially, the soft serve machine will be up and running as well.
