Two Domestic Incidents Result in Arrest in Redding

Domestic incidents           

On Nov. 29 at 8:13 p.m., following a 911 hang-up call, Redding officers responded to a Pocahontas Road residence and ended up arrested a 40-year-old male following a domestic dispute, charging him with disorderly conduct.

He was released on a promise to appear in court the next day.

On Dec. 4 at 6:20 p.m., police responded to a family disturbance on High Ridge Road. An 18-year-old female was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with police. She was released on a promise to appear in court the next day.

Suspended license

While conducting their state grant-funded seatbelt check last Tuesday, Redding police stopped and arrested Raymond Williams, 40, of Danbury who was caught driving with a suspended license on Route 7 because he wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.

He was released on the scene and is to appear in court later this month.

Rollover accident

On Dec. 4 at 11:15 a.m., police responded to a one-car rollover accident on Redding Road. Benjamin Wormell, 35, of Ridgefield was taken to the hospital and his vehicle was towed. The case remains under investigation.
