Weston Cracks Top 5 of Final Girls Soccer Coaches Poll
The Trojans advanced to the Class M semifinals, defeating a pair of higher-seeded teams along the way.

WESTON, CT — A trip to the Class M semifinals boosted Weston High School to the fifth position in the final girls soccer coaches poll for Classes M-S.
After knocking off a pair of higher-seeded opponents in the tournament, the Trojans fell to eventual runner-up Plainfield 2-1, in a match decided by penalty kicks. Class M champion Lewis Mills, S champion Old Lyme, Plainfield and S runner-up Immaculate were the top four vote-getters.
Class LL champion Ridgefield led the Class LL-L balloting, followed by Staples and Glastonbury.
