Weston, Easton Drivers: Left Lane Closed on Merritt South From Exits 46-42 in Westport and Fairfield

Road work on the southbound-traffic side of the Merritt Parkway has closed the left lane to traffic between Exit 42 (state Route 57, Weston Road in Westport) and Exit 46 (state Route 59, Easton Turnpike in Fairfield), the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced.

Exit 42 is just south of Weston; Exit 46 is just south of Easton.

The lane along that 6.9-mile stretch of the highway should reopen to traffic by 3 p.m., according to the department.
