Weston Library To Showcase Local Artists In July Exhibit

More than 55 artists will be featured in Weston Library's July exhibit, with a public reception and two art classes.

WESTON, CT — More than 55 artists from Weston and surrounding communities will be featured in a new art exhibit opening July 1 at the Weston Public Library.

The "Weston Connections" exhibit, organized by the Weston Commission for the Arts and the Friends of the Weston Library, will run through July 31. The free event highlights a diverse range of local talent in an effort to celebrate community and creativity.

“We put out a call for artists and weren’t sure how many would respond,” said Cindy Wagner, a professional portrait artist and commission member. “We’re delighted to have had so many submissions.”
