Weston Police Investigate Two Weekend Home Burglaries

Weston police are investigating two weekend residential burglaries on Lyons Plain Road and Old Hyde Road involving forced entry.

WESTON, CT — Weston police are investigating two residential burglaries reported over the weekend in separate neighborhoods, both involving entry through broken first-floor windows.

Police said the first incident occurred during the evening of Nov. 15 at a home on Lyons Plain Road. The intruder entered through a first-floor window, ransacked several rooms and stole multiple pieces of jewelry.

A second burglary on Old Hyde Road was reported over the same weekend. In that case, police said the intruder also broke and removed a first-floor window to get inside before stealing various items.

Both cases remain under investigation. Anyone who noticed unusual activity or who has video recordings from the area is asked to contact Detective Joe Mogollon at jmogollon@westonpolice.com or 203-222-2639.

Police urged residents to lock doors and windows, set home alarms, check surveillance cameras and secure vehicles parked outdoors by removing keys and valuables.
