Weston's Women League Elects New Board

The Weston’s Women League (WWL) has installed its board for 2012-2013.  

The newly elected board members were sworn into office at the league’s annual installation dinner on May 30 at the . The WWL board members are President Stacey Tucker, VP Membership Kim Burke, VP’s Fundraising Michelle Zwack and Margaret Krauss, VP Community Activities Anne Bigin, VP Communications and Publicity Catherine Revzon, VP Philanthropy Mica DeSantis, Secretary Kim Summers, Treasurer Tami Campos, and Immediate Past President Heather Pemberton Levy.

"We have a wonderful mix of seasoned and brand new members on the board this year. The dynamic mix of experience and fresh ideas will give the league great energy in the year ahead," Tucker said.

At the celebration, awards were given to both those who showed exceptional volunteerism this past year as well as members celebrating milestones. The League honored Katherine DeSousa as “Member of the Year,” and Kim Burke as “New Member of the Year.” Tami Campos, Debby Katz, Kathleen O'Connell, and Dena Tunney were recognized for their five year anniversaries with the league.

The Weston Women’s League is a diverse group of women dedicated to promoting a sense of community through volunteerism, fundraising and social events. Our members have many interests and talents and combine them to make a difference for women, children and families in need. The league also hosts ongoing social outings and welcomes community volunteers to join in its events, including the Weston Farmers' Market, Children's Holiday Breakfast, Breast Cancer Walk, UNICEF collection, and Thanksgiving Blood Drive.
