A 17-year-old Weston female was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple trespass after police found her in a car parked in the lot of Aspetuck Land Trust land on Newtown Turnpike in Wilton after sunset.
According to police, officers discovered the vehicle on March 9 at 9:50 p.m. and upon investigation, found one of the passengers in the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and a pipe. The park closes everyday at sunset, and anyone there after sunset is trespassing.
She was referred to the police department’s youth division for enforcement action.
