This year, Memorial Day falls on May 27, and for many, this holiday weekend marks the unofficial start of summer. Weston Memorial Day Fair
When: Friday, May 24 - 6:00 p.m.
Where: Westin Public Schools, 24 School Rd., Weston, CT
What: Support the Hurlbutt and Weston Intermediate School by attending this Memorial Day fair. As the largest fundraiser for these local elementary schools, your attendance can ensure a brighter future for the community's education.

2024 Weston CT Memorial Day 5K Road Race
When: Saturday, May 25 - 8:00 a.m.
Where: 115 School Rd., Weston, CT 06883
What: Take part in the spirit of Weston by joining in this Memorial 5K Road Race! Sponsored by the Weston High School PTO, runners of all categories are encouraged to join in. Plus, there will be games, activities, food trucks and more.
Memorial Day Parade
When: Monday, May 27 - 9:00 a.m.
Where: Trumbull Town Hall, 5866 Main St., Trumbull, CT 06611
What: Antique cars, sports teams, bands and more will be present at Trumbull’s Memorial Day Parade. The parade will start with a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of the fallen will be held in front of the Town Hall. You can also sponsor a flag in honor or memory of a soldier.

Annual Memorial Day Parade And Picnic
When: Monday, May 27 - 11:00 a.m.
Where: 611 Old Field Rd Southbury, CT 06488
What: Honor our veterans with a parade ending at Veterans Memorial Green in Southbury, followed by a picnic lunch. Main Street South will be closed to traffic to make way.
