18-Year-Old Man Charged With Assaulting Elderly Woman: Police
On March 3, an elderly woman was seriously injured during the theft of her car. Police have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
WESTPORT, CT — An 18-year-old man faces a slew of charges in connection with the assault and car theft of an elderly woman earlier this month, Westport police said.
On March 5, an elderly woman was assaulted and suffered serious injuries during the theft of her car, police said.
On Wednesday, March 23, Westport detectives arrested Tayvion Hart, 18, of New Haven on an active warrant stemming from the incident.

Hart was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first-degree assault on an elderly person, first-degree conspiracy to commit assault on an elderly person, first-degree larceny, and first-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.
His bond was set at $250,000 and he was arraigned in Stamford Superior Court on Wednesday, police said.
