8th Annual Westport Dog Festival Set For Sunday

WESTPORT, CT — The 8th annual Westport Dog Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Winslow Park in Westport. The rain date is June 2.

"We expect 3000 people and over 1000 dogs at the best Dog Festival in the State," organizers wrote in a statement. "Come on out for a great day in the park with family and friends."

The event features an obstacle course, various competitions, a police K9 demonstration, food trucks and more.

Admission is $10 per person, $30 per family of four. Tickets are only sold on-site the day of the event. Cash or credit accepted. The obstacle course is $10 for two runs; competitions are $5 per entry.

A portion of the proceeds goes toward various animal charities.
