CT Weekend Weather Forecast: More Rain, More Storms Possible
This is definitely not the weather forecast we were all hoping for after this very long and difficult week.

There is no break in sight for us when it comes to the weather forecast this weekend. More rain, more thunderstorms are possible. Saturday is by far the worse day with rain showers expected throughout the day and night and there could be some thunderstorms Saturday night and Sunday.
Connecticut is still trying to recover from four tornadoes and a macroburst that moved through the state on Tuesday. Forty-thousand residents are still without power on Friday morning, and some may not see the lights turned back on until sometime Sunday.
It's hard to fathom that Memorial Day weekend is a week away, which is the unofficial kickoff to summer. Connecticut hasn't really had a spring this season as April was historically cold and it seemingly rains every day in May thus far.

Temperatures will range from the mid 50 to mid 60s across the area. Periods of rain will develop tonight with the slow moving front, and continue on Saturday. Temperatures will be cooler on Saturday due to the rain."
