Boutique Chain Picks Westport For Its First Connecticut Location

WESTPORT, CT — Bobbles & Lace, a chain boutique that sells clothing, shoes and accessories, has opened its first Connecticut shop — and it chose Westport as its location.

The Westport boutique opened in Bedford Square (at 11 Church Lane) earlier this month, and its hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Officials are planning for expanded summer hours.

Bobbles & Lace offers "chic, modern, fashion forward designs at an affordable price," officials wrote on the company's website. Its flagship location opened 14 years ago in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Company owner Lindsay Rose Rando said she was drawn to the sense of community in Westport, and said she "knows the women of Westport are going to love what [we] have to offer."

"We are excited to be in Bedford Square and the layout of the new bright and beautiful location makes for a flawless shopping experience," Rando said in a statement.

The chain has three other locations in Massachusetts (Andover, Boston and Newburyport) as well as storefronts in Newport, Rhode Island; Portland, Maine; and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Saugatuck Commercial Real Estate (SCRE) represented the company in leasing its Westport shop.
