Bridge Replacement Project Scheduled In Westport: Report
The bridge in the northern part of town is reportedly nearly 100 years old.
WESTPORT, CT — The nearly 100-year-old bridge on Cross Highway in Westport is slated for replacement next summer, The Hour reported.
According to Town Engineer Keith Wilberg, the project will begin after the end of the current school year and should only take a couple of months to complete.
Cost of the bridge replacement is estimated to be about $2.75 million, which will be partially funded through state grants.

The bridge is between North Avenue and Bayberry Lane, near Wakeman Town Farm, and the stretch of road will also reportedly receive new sidewalks.
