Bridge Street Bridge to Have Delays & Detours Friday

The Town of Westport has been notified that the Bridge Street swing bridge, formally known as the William J.Cribari Bridge, will have delays and detours for four 15 - 20 minute periods on March 8, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for repair work.  

The contractor, Cianbro Construction Co., will be making repairs to the mechanical and electrical components of the bridge, said First Selectman Gordon F. Joseloff. 

Signs and markings for detour routes will be posted, Joseloff said.
