'Change Of Use' Sought For 62,000-Square-Foot Westport Building
A special permit/site plan application is pending before the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Planning and Zoning Director Mary Young announced today that on January 8, 2024 at 7:00 PM, the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to discuss:

- Text Amendment #833/Appl. #PZ-23-00464 submitted by Attorney Eric Bernheim of FLB Law to modify standards in the Zoning Regulations including §26, Design Development District, and §34, Off-Street Parking and Loading. Text Amendment #833 can be viewed on the Town’s website here.
- Map Amendment #834/Appl. #PZ-23-00475 to modify the Official Building Zone Map to rezone property from Design Development District (DDD) #4 to DDD #3, located at 55-57 Greens Farms Rd., owned by 1735 Ashley, LLC. Map Amendment #834 can be viewed online here; and
- Special Permit/Site Plan Appl. #PZ-23-00462 to authorize a Change of Use of 62,918 SF at Building #55 from Office to Medical use; for approval of a valet parking plan in lieu of constructing additional physical parking spaces to support the Change of Use; and to obtain a waiver of the 1978 Court Stipulated Judgement to remove the restriction on Medical use on property located at 55-57 Greens Farms Rd., owned by 1735 Ashley, LLC. The Jan. 8, 2024 meeting will be held remotely and live streamed at 7:00 PM on the Town’s website at www.westportct.gov and accessible on Optimum Government Access Channel. The remote meeting link is published on the meeting agenda available on the Town’s website on the “Meeting List and Calendar” web page. Written comments may be submitted and should be sent to PandZ@westportct.gov by 12:00pm on the day of the meeting if intended to be distributed for consideration by members of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Written comments received after 12:00pm on the day of the meeting will be entered into the record but will not be distributed until the next business day.
