Westport's emergency personnel were busy Tuesday.
Police received a report of a construction accident on Overlook Lane at around 2 p.m.
A subcontractor working on the roof of a home fell off and sustained serious injuries, according to a statement from the department,
The victim, a Bridgeport resident, was transported to Norwalk Hospital. The Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.
Just an hour later, a public works employee reported to police that there was an unresponsive person slumped over the wheel of a van on Hillspoint Road.
Emergeny responders determined the victim -- a Norwalk resident -- was suffering from a medical emergency and was transported to Norwalk Hospital.
