A Weston man was arrested Wednesday after Westport police reportedly found heroin and crack cocaine in his vehicle.
The man was stopped by police for a motor vehicle violation, according to the arrest report. The officer noted the man was making "furtive movements" inside his vehicle, and asked to search the vehicle. The man consented, and officers found heroin and crack cocaine in the car, police said.
The man -- identified as Ryan Singleton, 29, of Lyons Plains Road -- allegedly gave officers the wrong first name during his arrest, police said.
Singleton was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation, failure to wear a seatbelt in the front seat of a vehicle, and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension.
He was held in lieu of a $9,500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on May 31.
