Date Set For Seasonal Closure Of Westport's Longshore Golf Course
The popular golf course opened for the 2025 season in late March.

WESTPORT, CT — Westport's Longshore Golf Course will close for the 2025 season at the end of play on Sunday, Dec. 7, Parks and Recreation Director Erik Barbieri announced on Tuesday.
The popular golf course, which books thousands of rounds each year, opened for the season on March 28. An exact date of when the course will open in 2026 has not yet been determined.
"We are pleased to have been able to extend the 2025 golf season this far into December," Barieri said in a statement. "On behalf of the Town of Westport, Head Golf Professional Jon Janik, Golf Course Superintendent Sean Charles, and the entire staff at Longshore, we wish all our loyal Longshore golfers a Happy and Healthy New Year. We look forward to seeing you in the spring."
