Downed Tree Blocks Road In Westport: Police
The downed tree, which is entangled in power lines, was reported on Monday afternoon.
WESTPORT, CT — Wilton Road, between Partrick Road and River Lane, in Westport is closed Monday afternoon due to a downed tree entangled in power lines blocking the entire roadway, according to Westport police.
When the road will reopen was not known, but motorists are urged to "avoid the area until this is resolved."
Eversource has been notified, and has responded to the scene.
