'Dreadful' Weather For Sunday In CT: Here's What To Expect
You'd better enjoy todays quiet weather because things change dramatically on Sunday. Here are the updated details for Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — Today in Connecticut will be a pretty good day, an abundance of sunshine, chilly temps, highs around mid 40s, and dry weather. As for Sunday, there really isn't much good to say about that forecast.
Rain arrives after 8 p.m. in western parts of the state and moves across all of Connecticut through the late evening hours. Rain is expected to continue for most of Sunday. It is likely in Litchfield County that there will be some snowflakes and in Hartford County a light wintry mix is also possible.
Everyone else is expected to see a cold rain before it tapers off Sunday evening. More than an inch of rain is expected for Connecticut.

The National Weather Service says, "High pressure will briefly build in today providing a sunny and dry start. Clouds increase through the day ahead of the next system which will bring widespread rain to the region. It is possible that far northwestern zones see a brief period of freezing rain overnight into Sunday morning. Rain will continue into the early part of Sunday before moving out Sunday afternoon."
For Hartford County, the weather service says, "Hazardous travel is possible from a light wintry mix of light snow and light freezing rain Saturday night into Sunday morning. The wintry mix should change to rain late Sunday morning."

For Litchfield County, the weather service says, "A developing storm system will begin to affect the region tonight, with mixed precipitation developing from south to north. A light accumulation of snow and sleet, along with some ice will be possible, especially from around Interstate 90 southward." More snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected on Sunday too in Litchfield County.
