Driver Arrested on Narcotics Warrant in Westport

Westport police stopped a vehicle on Hillspoint Road for having no front license plate and learned that the driver had a warrant for his arrest, according to an arrest report.

Westport police charged Ryan Singleton, 29, of Weston, with failure to pay or plead regarding a narcotics arrest in 2012 by the Ridgefield Police Department, according to the report.

Singleton posted a $300 cash bond and was released. He is due in State Superior Court in Danbury on February 15, police said.
